CREATE YOUR OWN FUNDRAISER

There are endless possibilities when it comes to ways you can fundraise to help Vinnies Victoria provide food, and education services to people who need it most. Any upcoming milestone, a personal challenge or a social event can be an opportunity to create a brighter future for someone in need.

It’s really as simple as creating an online fundraising page below and sharing your page with your community. However, if you feel that you need a bit more support or inspiration, please see our fundraising guide on our Resources page or see a few of our favourite ways to fundraise below.

If you would prefer to do an offline fundraiser, please register your fundraising event here or get in contact with our team via fundraising@svdp-vic.org.au

Birthday fundraising

Rather than receiving presents on your birthday this year why not give a gift to someone in need? By asking your friends and family to donate to your fundraising page in lieu of gifts you are providing a hope and dignity through the provision of food, material aid and support services to vulnerable Victorians.

Movie Night

By shifting your night out to a night in, you could raise vital funds for people who need it most. Set up your own home movie night – with snacks. Ask your guests to contribute the cost of what they would have spent on their regular night out to your fundraiser to make a positive difference to people doing it tough.

Casual Clothes Day

Get your workplace or school involved by holding a casual clothes or dress-up day. Ask every participant for a donation and you could even add other activities, such as a bake sale or BBQ throughout the day to raise additional funds. If you have a dress-up day, you could even run a ‘best dressed’ competition to encourage more people to get on board.
