Geelong Community Sleepout

Big changes start small – with just knock at a door, a nutritious meal, simply being prepared to listen to someone’s story –​ or with a single night of sleeping out in the cold.

We are so excited to return to Geelong on March 3 with an event designed to unite the local community. For one cold night, Geelong people are invited to connect on a personal level with the issue of homelessness and raise much-needed funds for local people experiencing disadvantage. The money you raise will go towards Vinnies’ local, volunteer-run community services which allow Vinnies to keep a roof overhead, put food on the table and keep the lights on for many in the Geelong region.

Local corporate and community groups and teams, concerned individuals, and families and children are invited to come together to not only hear more about the complex issues of homelessness and poverty in the Geelong region, but be part of the change that starts with a single night of sleeping out in the cold. All minors must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian.
